VMware Global Customer Loyalty Manager - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Boston, Massachusetts

Elevator Pitch:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Product Marketing team as a Global Customer Loyalty Manager, supporting the CloudHealth by VMware Suite. In this role you will be able to work on our native public cloud SaaS solutions for financial management and security and compliance. If you love amplifying customer and partner stories, then this role is for you.By the end of your first year in the role, we expect you to have built strong relationships with our customer and partner champions.

Success in this role:

  • Within 30 days, have a clear understanding of how our business operates and how we interact with our customers and partners

  • Within 60 days, you will have revised existing customer loyalty materials to reflect your program management style

  • Within 90 days, you will be coordinating reference and advisory engagements with minimal assistance

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing our advisory board programs for customers and partners

  • Working closely with our product management team on content for our advisory board meetings

  • Supporting reference requests for marketing activities and sales opportunities

  • Working closely with our sales and customer success teams to source peer and public customer references

  • Maintaining our reference tracking database

  • Writing case studies and blogs to promote public references

  • Working cross-functionally with other VMware teams on joint references across product lines

  • Working with customer success on gifting programs

  • Developing and executing on our community strategy

  • Establishing and growing key relationships with customer and partner champions


The CloudHealth Product Marketing team is unique as it includes individuals across product marketing, technical marketing, sales enablement, and customer loyalty functions. The team is distributed across the United States, with most of the team located in Boston, Massachusetts. Key values of the team are transparency, humor, and collaboration.The Hiring Manager for this role is Marie Burke, Director of Product Marketing. She joined VMware as part of the acquisition of CloudHealth Technologies in 2018 and has worked on the CloudHealth product for about five years.The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
