Description

You will drive the product vision, help shape roadmaps, and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure Converse has the tools necessary for to drive business in the Direct To Consumer channels. As a member of the Product Management team, you will be the main point of contact for coordinating IT related activities including project management, interfaces/integrations, configuration management, and process improvement. The role will interact with subject matter experts from the business, senior management, IT business analysts, and vendors.

You will manage the vision of the technology, define system goals and technical system requirements, primarily focused on Sales Audit, Merchandising and ERP systems across Europe, North America, and Asia/Middle East. You will be responsible for the strategic development of new technology and management of existing tools that focus on inventory lifecycle, revenue growth and profitability across the Global set of Brick and Mortar Stores. The position will work closely with Global Direct To Consumer Operations, Marketing and Merchandising teams.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Drive and support key merchandising process, strategies and development.

  • Working with functional areas to understand business processes and aid users in becoming more efficient and effective in using associated systems

  • Overseeing communicating business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are developed in support of enterprise systems

  • Vendor management to ensure delivery of quality products and responding to the company's needs while developing a beneficial business relationship

  • Managing the configuration and setup of the ERP-related and Planning and Allocation solutions

  • Creating technical specifications and processes using structured analysis

  • Building and leveraging automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time

  • Understanding system interdependencies as well as existing and anticipated functionality

  • Coordinating project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

  • Participating in system and user acceptance testing efforts

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in a product strategy role or business analyst role

  • 3+ years experience working with technical teams

  • Structural thinking and analysis approach

  • Self-dependence, results orientation, effective time and task management, flexibility

  • Strong communication, influencing, and facilitation skills

  • Strong understanding of customer needs, business process knowledge and business and technical strategy/vision

  • Ability to work well with people with varying technical and business abilities

  • Ability to write effective use cases with clear acceptance criteria that express expected outcomes and business value

  • Ability to break down work into executable items for the team that fit within an iteration and provide usable value at completion
