The Financial Services Marketing and ABM Manager will be responsible for creating the FSI messaging and customer engagement strategy that enables the Financial Services growth strategy, for the financial services sales team, as well as leveraging these materials for the broader set of accounts in the vertical. The right candidate will create a marketing plan working very closely with the Financial Services Sales Leader, heavily leveraging Account Based Marketing.
The ABM plan will include how to drive more strategic relationships with the accounts served by the Financial sales team, including account planning, data, messaging, content, digital, social, events, executive alignment, intimacy, sponsorships, and other tactics to drive strategic changes within the set of accounts within two years. This role will focus on our strategic services including Edge, SD-WAN, SASE, Security, and work from anywhere services.
What We Look For in a Candidate
A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing (minimum 6 w/Master’s degree)
5+ years of experience in financial services
Ability to lead executive conversations with strong personalities toward a common goal often with conflict along the way
Available for travel
Understanding of the current tech landscape, including Cloud, Edge, Security, SASE, and application performance.
Loves change and is a change maker
Versed in customer journey mapping, outcome based messaging, and sense making.
Ability to analyze information, ask questions, and gain insights that lead to strategic answers.
Well versed in all business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations, and IT
Enjoys ambiguity and can define a path forward regardless of roadblocks or challenges, is a problem solver and creative thinker.
Executive presence, interacting with VP and C level
Results-Oriented leader with prior successful experience in a dynamic, highly matrixed corporate environment, who is detail-oriented and has a strong focus on delivery milestones.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and communicate in a proactive fashion.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Technology marketing background
Masters degree or MBA
