CoreSite Field Marketing Specialist, East - Boston, MA in Boston, Massachusetts

CoreSite is searching for a passionate field marketing and demand generation specialist to join our team. Our Field Marketing Specialist, East is responsible for executing on strategic and integrated demand generation programs and campaigns in our Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic sales regions.

This role will report to the Manager of Demand Generation and Field Marketing and will be integral in the strategy, planning, execution and tracking of regional campaigns and programs on the East Coast. This collaborative teammate will strategically align efforts to support field marketing activities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and will serve as a liaison between marketing and sales, providing vital communications on current and upcoming marketing programs as well as reading out on campaign performance and optimization.

Technical acumen and experience with a B2B marketing technology stack including Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, ON24 and social media platforms preferred. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a background in marketing and demand generation, digital marketing, email campaigns, event planning, tradeshows and event sponsorship, virtual events and webinars and interested in further developing their skills.

The ideal candidate possesses strong project management, communication and organizational skills. Works collaborative across the organization to plan, launch and promote events internally across the organization and externally to our prospects, partners and customers. Sets benchmarks and regularly reports out on success metrics from incoming data for management review.

Duties:

  • Serves as liaison between marketing and sales in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Attends weekly regional sales meetings and communicates corporate and marketing updates to VPs, GMs and sales.

  • Researches and recommends ideas for new regional campaigns and programs, tradeshows, events, association membership, sponsorship, awards, webinars, virtual events, email and digital campaigns.

  • Executes on regional marketing programs and campaigns from start to finish including scheduling, planning, obtaining stakeholder buy-in, promoting and tracking results.

  • Evaluates Marketo data from regional campaign and program performance to determine the allocation of future budgets based on results.

  • Recommends promotional products and giveaway items for events, campaigns and programs. Collaborates with team members and vendors on inventory to ensure stock and order delivery.

  • Supports regional campaigns and programs by assisting in the management of social media platforms and digital ad campaigns.

  • Provides reporting on the performance of all campaigns and programs quarterly, analyzes results, measures against KPIs, and provides recommendations to the team.

  • Ensures that marketing generated leads from owned programs and campaigns are being passed to sales correctly and tracked properly in Marketo and Salesforce.

  • Follows brand standard guides and has an eye for details that make digital content stand out in the crowd.

  • Provides input on integrated marketing plans, contributes to strategy, objectives, KPIs and can measure results using existing or new tools.

  • Promotes and demonstrates the behaviors consistent with CoreSite’s culture and Eight Guiding Principles.

  • Special projects as assigned.

Reporting:

  • Helps measure satisfaction and engagement, qualitative and quantitative metrics.

  • Participates in planning and analysis of digital analytics to optimize campaigns and programs.

  • Assists in creating reports for distribution.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Four-year college degree preferred

  • 5+ years of B2B digital marketing experience preferred

  • 5+ years of proven experience in event planning, tradeshows and webinars

  • Experience working with office suite software, webinar, social media and marketing platforms

  • Experience working with marketing promotional vendors and managing fulfillment and inventories

  • Prepared to provide examples of previous programs, campaigns and associated success metrics

  • Willing to complete an exercise to demonstrate abilities

Compensation:

Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $51,535 and $64,420 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based on individual and company performance.
