The Experience Strategy Consultant will identify and support opportunities to drive experience strategy and design into existing and new client relationships. Specifically, identify marketing transformation and business reinvention opportunities using experience visioning and design as an entry point. Explore the redefinition of the marketing function based around customer centricity and digital transformation. They drive new business opportunities and deliver and sell in IBM key strategic services and support to realize the opportunities for business and marketing transformation. They will identify the organizational, data and technology platforming required to support the vision for customer centric digitally enabled marketing and experience design and Define the vision and drive the implementation and delivery. The consultant will be working with senior client partners and their teams to support efforts to expand opportunities with existing clients across the IBM's strategic imperatives. Teams can include GBS and GTS and in many cases this role will help bridge different areas of IBM to provide both strategy, blueprinting and delivery. Work will also include working closely with senior clients including the C Suite and the Marketing groups in particular.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years of marketing platform and digital marketing technologies and strategies experience

  • 10+ years of experience handling client relationships and delivering strategies for clients.

  • Deep understanding of marketing needs and key marketing functions particularly the impact of digitization and digital requirements on all aspects of marketing strategy and delivery(from client side and/or agency side)

  • Strong understanding of data and analytics as it relates to customer experience and marketing experience and optimization

  • Deep understanding of digital media and marketing platforms required to deliver the experiences

  • Understanding of target operating models and digital marketing organization structure, skills and processes

  • Ability to develop marketing and experience visions, blueprints and roadmaps for implmenetation

  • Experience developing presentations and presenting at a senior level

  • Ability to identify and sell opportunities that deepen IBM's business relationships

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Design Thinking experience

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • Project management experience

  • FInancial management experience

  • At least 15 years of experience operating at senior client levels inc CMO
