The Middle Market & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) Treasury Sales team serves the Commercial Banking Middle Market client segment $20-$500MM revenue space. The Executive Director Middle Market & Specialized Industries Regional Manager reports to the Northeast Head of Treasury Services Sales and will have overall responsibility for managing a Treasury Solutions sales team.

Maintains and develops trusted advisor relationships with MMBSI executive leadership and is part of the MMBSI leadership team.

The Regional Sales Leader develops partnerships with Bankers, Client Service, Product and Implementation teams. The Regional Manger plays a key role in the development of the Treasury Solutions Sales Team. Further will execute a localized to market strategy, while leading and managing key pursuits and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a geographically diverse treasury salesteam

  • Providing leadership, coaching and developmenton all aspects needed to achieve performance goals

  • Work with Treasury Solutions leadership toformulate and execute to market strategy

  • Monitor staff performance, provides appropriatecoaching, recognition and feedback.

  • Oversee the development of actionablerelationship plans for select clients.

  • Manage, guide and coach client proposals & presentations.

  • Monitor performance of team members

  • Build collaborative internal relationships –Bankers, and internal partners.

  • Participates in partner meetings andcommunicates key Treasury Management messages

  • Engages in a disciplined marketing process andquality call activities.

  • Manages customer expectations by communicatingupfront timelines and deliverables.

  • Ensure a successful implementation of TSproducts.

  • Protects the firm via sound risk managementprotocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.

  • Takes ownership of escalated MMBSI TS segmentclient issues and leverages the appropriate resources to champion results.

Candidate Profile

Successful Candidates have track record of leading Treasury Sales teams in Business banking, Commercial or Investment Banking. A strong history of building internal and external strategic selling networks will be key to your success. You must be a master of all aspects of direct selling including developing national relationships for lead generation. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing solid partnerships with other JPMorgan Chase businesses in your region to identify and close cross-sell corporate card opportunities.

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA or Masters in Finance orrelated field

  • 10+ years experience in sales and sales team managementfocused on B2B Treasury Solutions

  • 3+ years of management experience over a geographicallydistributed team

  • Lead regional Treasury Sales team - Plan anddirect teams’ daily activities

  • Recruit, train, lead, coach, and motivate team

  • Cultivate key prospect relationships

  • Develop regional strategies to drive growth

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics toevaluate effectiveness relative to key metric performance and goals

  • Support and implement enterprise strategies andtactics to improve performance, and efficiency

  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership, follow-upand project management skills

  • Lead/execute special projects and assignments asrequired

  • Strong coaching, motivation and leadershipskills; ability to network, recruit, train, and develop a strong sales team.

  • Ability to develop, drive and articulatestrategy and vision for the team and lead a sales force
