Facebook Engagement Program Manager Lead in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

In Recruiting, our partnership with the business is a core strategic driver of Facebook’s success and ability to hire top talent. We are looking for an experienced Engagement PM Lead to lead team members within the Engagement PM team focused on operational recruiting support for our Recruiting Business Partners and Product Groups. Additionally, this role will carry a partial IC load and will be directly aligned with one or more Product Groups to drive cross-functional strategies across referrals, employee outreach, interviewing and closing activities. Some initiatives are known now, and it will also be the responsibility of the Engagement PM Lead to stay close to our Recruiting Business Partners and the Product Groups to identify opportunities for new projects. This role sits squarely within a fast-paced, dynamic environment that continually presents opportunities to produce solutions for a wide variety of interesting and often complex challenges. It’s a highly strategic and impactful role within Facebook Recruiting, with a significant amount of business facing responsibilities.

Required Skills:

  1. Provide training, mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the Engagement PM team

  2. Manage a team of program managers to execute programs across core focus areas

  3. Establish and maintain relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting Leadership, Channels team, Diversity Cross Collaboration, etc.)

  4. Develop and execute scalable, on-going programmatic initiatives to support PG recruiting activity goals across Employee Outreach, Interviewing, Sell Calls and Referrals for aligned Product Group(s)

  5. Collect & analyze data, information, and research through quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to make decisions and recommendations on critical strategic issues

  6. Manage and escalate organizational risks and issues as appropriate, establish success metrics, and ensure performance is tracked and measured

  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of the core team

  8. Assist with escalated issues on priorities, goals, strategies, resources and key initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience

  2. Experience leading/managing a small team (including performance management, project/program execution, upward/downward communication cascades and feedback)

  3. Experience planning and leading projects

  4. Experience working closely with senior hiring partners and leaders to drive strategy and recruiting initiatives

  5. Data driven with experience generating reports and drive action based on results

  6. Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software) to create analyses and presentations

  7. Experience working cross functionally and holding people accountable for deliverables without a formal reporting structure

  8. Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various groups/locations

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. Leadership skills and executive presence with business partners, RBPs and pipeline owners

  3. Deep understanding of referrals processes and strategies

  4. Experience with business process management, workflow, and life cycle management

  5. Proven experience in process and operations improvement
