The Early Intervention Regional Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales goals through the implementation of strategies and talent development for assigned area. Direct and lead a team of Early Intervention Sales Consultants to achieve sales objectives and market development goals within assigned geography. Reports to Early Intervention National Sales Director

In this role the candidate will be responsible for the effective management, development, coaching and training of direct Sales Consultants, through routine field visits, regular written and verbal communication. They must establish yearly goals and plans for each Sales Consultant within assigned area by preparing a territory Business Plan specifying objectives, target accounts, key clinicians, product promotions, and other issues central to achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals and objectives.

They will work with Sales Consultants to build increased sales volume, provide feedback/recommendations, motivate, and assist in training Sales Consultants in the area.

You will communicate with team on sales growth and day-to-day opportunities & issues. Conduct quarterly formal field visits with Sales Consultants within area of responsibility. As well as, communicate with National Sales Director regarding progress to objectives and recommendations for solutions as needed.

You will be Responsible for the effective management, development of sales strategies, and partnering with Corporate Accounts Directors, Field Marketing Directors and other internal stakeholders.

Build relationships with key opinion leaders, Fellowship Programs, uncover contracting opportunities and sales efforts/execution as needed.

Expense reporting / budgeting for local Meeting/Conventions; local Professional Education events & coverage.

You will provide technical support to Sales Consultants and customers around non-surgical products & techniques. Report on key issues, trends, competitor efforts, or results of alternate methods.

Ensure Sales Consultants are compliant with on-line training in accordance with J&J policies.

EISM is responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those pertaining to the marketing and sale of medical products to healthcare professionals. Representative must conduct its business in compliance with the company’s healthcare compliance policies.

Must comply with all of Mitek Sports Medicine’s Quality System Regulations.

Must comply with all of J&J’s safety and environmental rules and regulations. Attend all safety and environmental training offered throughout.


The position requires experience in working with sales associates, leading teams, building and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating pricing contracts, business plan development and execution. 5-7 years of business experience and college degree are required. Varied experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or surgical device industry and management development training strongly preferred.

Ability to travel up to 60% is required.
