<p><strong>Senior Manager, Merchandising Operations</strong></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Merchandising Operations group at Wayfair is looking for a Senior Manager of Complex Products to join our team! Many of our suppliers have effectively unlimited capabilities to create products; our vision is to unlock that selection and make it accessible and purchasable online. <p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Program manage the visual workstream of high optionality products, making the connection from the back end to the front end to increase customer confidence in these complex decisions (e.g., 3D modeling/rendering, best-in-class visual-aid technology)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Guide your team to implement impactful strategies while also pushing forward as a manager-doer against your own priorities</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with business stakeholders to define and prioritize opportunities, identify interdependencies between key business drivers, and communicate how an analytical approach can contribute to an overall business strategy or solution</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Balance quantitative analysis and critical business thinking with effective communication of tangible results and actions</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work at both a strategic level (understanding the business issues) and at a tactical level (pivoting between projects in real-time, digging into data to understand and report trends)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Synthesize results and coach team on presenting insights with a clear point of view and storyline to enable fact-based decision making</span></li>



<p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A proven track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles or limited resources</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated ability to communicate with a broad cross-functional audience and influence and persuade members at all levels</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years of experience building and leading multi-person teams to successfully complete complex projects</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Hands-on experience using analytical tools and techniques to solve complex business problems, including familiarity with SQL, Data Studio, Looker, GBQ, or Excel preferred</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with both technical and business-oriented stakeholders. Ability to translate analytical work into business cases meant to inform and persuade</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tenacity to develop ideas independently</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Positive, people-oriented, and energized by working in a high-performance, fast-paced industry</span></li>
