We are seeking a Solution Engineering Director to lead our Core Strategic Banking Solutions team. The SE Director will work closely with the aligned AVP of Sales to understand the account mix and sales opportunities in order to lead a Solution Engineering team best suited to that region.

Your Impact:

The Solution Engineering Director will hire and allocate resources, perform employee reviews and evaluations, participate in strategic deals and back up team members as needed to grow the business. The SE Director will also be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required.

The Solution Engineering Director will also act as an evangelist of the Strategic Banking organization to various internal stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable a team selling environment. With external customers, the Solution Engineering Director will strive to build technical relationships with IT and Business executives.

Required Skills:

  • This is a second-line leadership role and requires current leadership experience

  • Have a deep business level understanding in at least one of the following areas: Retail and Digital Banking, Commercial Banking, Institutional/Retail Asset Management, Wealth Management or Investment Banking (M&A, Capital Markets)

  • Able to build a culture of trust, collaboration and teamwork within the SE org as well asacross roles(Sales, Customer Success, Services, etc)

  • Desire and ability to lead a team of individual contributors to have abroader impact on the business as a wholeoutside of their assigned accounts

  • Agenuine interest in developing careers of the SEs on the team and provide constructive feedback around skill development based

  • Candidates will possess good analytical capabilities, be organized and able to prioritize conflicting/competing tasks

  • Able to support the Sales Engineering team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to Salesforce.com's executive staff

  • Able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing, Development, and Sales Management to gain commitment and support. Must have good fundamental Sales Skills

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient with Enterprise CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to a business or technical audience

  • Prior experience as a leader of Solution Engineers is highly desired

  • Prior SE CRM Solution Experience is desired
