Wiser Solutions Director, Product Management – Online Market Intelligence in Boston, Massachusetts
Wiser Solutions is a suite of in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools. We're on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions to optimize pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives, both in-store and online. Our Commerce Execution Suite is available globally.
About The Role:
Our online market intelligence SaaS product suite empowers brands and retailers attain maximum visibility into how their consumers experience their offerings on their digital journey. Right from the point of discovering their products and all the way to ordering, brands and retailers want maximum visibility into KPIs which enables them to succeed in a highly competitive environment. The product suite captures critical information such as product availability, competitive share of site, price indexing, retailer assortment and content/price compliance from thousands of competitive websites. The SaaS suite offers this data as manageable KPIs, actionable insights and detailed deep dives (as necessary) to solve both visibility and actionability challenges for brands and retailers.
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Product Management to lead this entire product suite (comprising of 3 products). We are looking for someone who can:
Envision, lead and execute multiple products within our growing product family
Is an i ndividual with an “owner” personality who can drive the team towards establishing a strong path forward and lead our products to success.
Establish the long-term vision/strategy, building the roadmap and owning the complete product experience.
Distill vision and strategy for the team, get all members of cross-functional team on-board
Develop a deep understanding of customer jobs to be done to inform product strategy and roadmap
Work closely with engineering, operations, customer success, sales, and other product leaders to break down complex problems into goal-oriented initiatives.
Have relentless focus on user experience to drive product engagement and customer retention
Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Drive feature usage/adoption and manage product health through KPIs, deep dive analysis, feature audits and design sprints
Deliver the maximum business impact by leading through indirect influence, collaborating with stakeholders, presenting to executive leadership, and facilitating the development of these initiatives
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
8+ years of hands-on product management experience
3+ years of experience managing Product Managers
Ability to work hands on, starting small, and scaling up over time.
Ability to build a team of product managers, UX designers and business analysts
Out of the box thinking paired with strong bias for execution
Driver/Owner mindset and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
Track record of shipping highly successful B2B SaaS products; from start to finish
Clear, concise, and thorough verbal and written communication skills
Experience analyzing and using data to inform decisions
Knowledge of retail/brand markets and eCommerce technologies
Passionate about and/or working in a dynamic startup environment
Passion for data, analytics etc.
