Verndale Director, Partners & Alliances in Boston, Massachusetts

About the Director, Partner & Alliances Position

Verndale is looking to add a Director, Partners & Alliances to our growing sales team. The Director, Partners & Alliances is an influencer and a true partner to our Partners who drives results through innovation, strong process, transparency and teamwork. The qualified candidate is an experienced leader who has developed and managed impactful channel partnerships. As part of our Sales team, the Director, Partners & Alliances is responsible for owning and managing the Verndale partner channel relationships. The qualified candidate will engage with Verndale Channel Partners and Verndale Stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of sales plans and support activities as well as ensuring effective growth strategies are in place for customers engaged through Verndale's strategic Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed quota for referral leads and closed opportunities that Verndale provides to our partners

  • Exceed quota for revenue that results from inbound partner leads and partner license commissions

  • Execute a successful partnership strategy to grow Verndale?s market share

  • Be the face of Verndale to our partners, own relationships with relevant partner stakeholders, act as day-to-day contact

  • Drive monthly and quarterly results meetings. Report on results both internally and with partners

  • Liaise with Marketing to identify co-branded campaigns w/partners that drive bi-directional lead flow

  • Liaise with Verndale & Partner field sales reps to facilitate tactical joint selling activities, increase Verndale mindshare at the field & sales management levels

  • Assist in finding new potential partners that align with and/or complement Verndale?s business model

  • Develop a deep understanding of Partner product lines and market trends

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of growing and scaling partner-driven revenues within a value based B2B sales model.

  • Effective communicator with C-level stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, run and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships

  • Demonstrated experience in value based selling methodologies like Challenger, Solution Selling, Sandler, Force Management

  • 3+ years? experience in a partner-based quota-carrying role

  • Highly effective oral and written communicator. Strong presentation, persuasion and negotiating skills.

  • Strong networking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time

  • Strong proficiency with salesforce.com
