Robert Half Director of Social Media in Boston, Massachusetts

Director of Social Media needed for a full-time position. Ideal candidate will work a 3/2 hybrid work model in Southern NH but our client is also open to an ideal candidate who can commute to Southern NH once a month. Must have 10+ years of proven experience developing and executing social media strategies that increased brand awareness and relevance. Must be an expert on all major social platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X and LinkedIn. Salary is 160-180K + 20% bonus.

We are seeking a Director of Social Media with the vision and skillset to guide the strategy and execution of our paid and organic social media initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will foster our social strategy, create innovative content, and stimulate engagement across all platforms. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop social content that amplifies our brand, resonates with our community, and achieves our annual goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that increases reach, relevance, and engagement.

• Act as a social media expert, keeping our brand progressive with the latest technology, market, and consumer trends.

• Supervise the development of social content to meet annual goals.

• Oversee community engagement, ensuring positive brand experiences and liaise with the Reputation Management team for crisis management.

• Lead all social performance measurement, reporting, and optimization.

• Manage our brand’s Influencer and Ambassador programs.

• Serve as a positive representative of the brand within our community.

• Use business, brand, and target audience insights to influence strategies.

• Act as a spokesperson for brand and social strategy, ensuring creative excellence.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external partners.

• Partner with the Brand Marketing Director and Integrated Marketing Director to ensure strategic and creative excellence across all marketing channels and initiatives.

• Lead, motivate, and inspire the Social Media Team.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Media, PR, and Agency stakeholders to deliver best-in-class omni-channel marketing.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is necessary.

• At least 10+ years of proven experience in designing and executing social media strategies that heightened brand awareness and relevance.

• Proficient in all major social platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, X and LinkedIn.

• Experience with Social Media Management Systems, ideally Sprinklr.

• Successfully built social teams and managed others.

• Successful interpretation of data to develop and sell-in recommendations.

• Passionate about the social media landscape, spotting trends, and inspiring creativity.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, alongside a positive, collaborative attitude.

• Superb organizational skills; detail-oriented, efficient, and proficient in establishing priorities and objectives.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and mentor.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and deadline-driven environment
