Wayfair Director of Product - Digital Media (3D VFX) in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wayfair is revolutionizing how imagery is created. Our 3D visualization team is combining the best interior imaging talent with photoreal computer rendering to create highly impactful, cost effective images at scale. We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, senior product leader to lead the Catalog Media Creative technology team tasked with optimizing and automating the way our teams create 3D digital assets for all of Wayfair’s needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will lead a team of product managers and work closely with Engineering, Creative, Marketing, and Storefront teams among others to develop innovative solutions. You will set product vision, determine prioritization and lead the development and deployment of technology solutions to our teams and partners.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What you’ll do:&nbsp;</span></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Evaluate technology market landscape and gaps in 3D creative space against business and product objectives to determine vision and priorities.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create and maintain a product roadmap and regularly update key partners, stakeholders and leadership&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with cross-functional leaders to define and align business and product vision, strategy, optimization and execution</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Grow and develop a world class product team&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage cross-functional teams in planning, prioritization and product delivery including engineering and creatives</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Define and measure business impact, monitor performance of initiative sand communicate performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leverage data to understand risk, impact, scope and priorities of our business objectives to enable the team to drive results&nbsp;</span></li>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What you’ll need:&nbsp;</span></p>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">10+ years Product Management experience across a mix of both start-ups and large companies</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">5+ years of experience successfully growing and coaching teams that are highly effective both in terms of impact and team culture</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Product development experience in VFX, Gaming, or similar 3D industry is a plus</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills with hypothesis-driven problem solving and turning data into actionable insights</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication skills with proven ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proven experience and passion for working across functions and with c-level leaders, synthesizing multiple points of view and owning a coherent roadmap while negotiating and influencing others</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong technical background, with ability to partner effectively with both engineering and data science teams</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in high-growth and ambiguous environments</span></li>
