Oracle Director of Marketing, Health Sciences Global Business Unit in Boston, Massachusetts
The Director, is an integral role, working across multiple groups (e.g., Sales, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Communications, Advertising) to build and execute campaign content and digital strategies across all stages of the sales cycle.
The Director will work closely with our campaign managers to plan and develop marketing strategies targeted at pharmaceutical, biotech, and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) that are impactful and generate leads to build pipeline and create meaningful awareness and credibility for the Oracle brand.
The ideal candidate is passionate about B2B technology, thrives in a collaborative environment and has 8+ years’ experience building global marketing/demand gen programs that successfully drive sales pipeline. Previous experience managing a team is preferred.
Lead the development of global integrated marketing strategies and campaigns based on both buyer and business needs in conjunction with marketing communications, product marketing, field marketing and sales leadership. Oversee digital campaign budget, execution, and channel selection.
Mentor a team of campaign marketing managers
Advise content development strategies using marketing automation to support demand generation and awareness efforts and partner with other departments (e.g., Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Industry Strategy) on content creation efforts.
Analyze past marketing efficiency data to derive insights and drive optimization to channel and campaign performance
Aligns with product marketing and sales to refine audience segmentation and targeting practices, drive testing strategies for continuous improvement
In close partnership with content and web teams, ensure the website is an optimized resource for customers/prospects as well as a robust tool for demand generation
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors required (Marketing, Communication, or Science).
8+ years of marketing experience in a marketing communications/demand generation role with proven results. Experience in SaaS/Software industry and knowledge of the Life Science industry is a plus.
Experience planning and carrying out coordinated marketing programs from inception through completion and measurement of success.
Proven track record to work closely and collaboratively with Executives, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Product Marketing, Strategy, and other key internal customers.
Possesses excellent written, presentation and verbal communications skills, experience in developing and editing materials in support of PR, campaigns, and event activities
Self-motivated with outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction, and the ability to influence, lead and mentor cross functional teams and champion new concepts and ideas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with common marketing automation, webcasting, and social media platforms
Ability to manage relationships with external vendors to ensure smooth execution of marketing programs
Ability to travel up to 20% for event support and meeting attendance as required.
