The WW Business Applications (Biz Apps) Readiness Delivery team is part of the Worldwide Commercial Business (WCB) and has the charter to empower our global field sales to drive market share in Business Applications also known as Microsoft Dynamics. Within this team The WW Biz Apps Readiness Strategy Lead - Industry Solutions is directly responsible for helping drive WW field productivity, shorten sales cycle, increase customer confidence, and ultimately increase revenue by closely working with Product Engineering Team, Product Marketing Team, Worldwide Learning team and Sales Management teams to not only shape World Class readiness programs for Microsoft Biz Apps Sales & Pre-Sales teams but also deliver training events to infuse Tech Intensity into the sales force, teach and enable the sales force to be customer obsessed delivering business value to our customers from their investment in Microsoft Business Applications.
As a Business Applications Readiness Business Value Management Director – you will be a business expert with understanding of Industry key trends and the high-level business process transformation needs. You have a deep understanding of desired customer outcomes and the ability to compute business value on realization of those outcomes from using Microsoft Business Applications solutions for the Retail & Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Government, Financial services & Manufacturing industries. focused Industries. You are a business processes expert and have experience with framing Business Persona Pains in an Industry with associated Business value for the customer. This role is within the Microsoft Worldwide Commercial Business organization with a primary charter to ready and enable Business application sales and pre-sales roles in Microsoft on business value. You will work with Business Application Solution experts within the WW Business Application Readiness Team and will provide the strategy and direction to them on Business value with Industry veneers for solutions and Use case frames so they can build the readiness content for solutions with business value.
You will work across organizational boundaries within Microsoft leading and shaping strategy for Business value content relevant to Business Applications and will help in framing Use Cases by Microsoft Business Solution area that enable business transformation needs of our customers. You will work closely with the industry team, Business Value Management team, Worldwide learning Org, Engineering Org and Product Marketing Org. With the world class business value readiness content, you develop, and the business value in Use cases you frame, and by effectively delivering business value to training to field sellers you will help Business Application Sellers at Microsoft help their customers with their end-to-end business transformation needs by envisioning designing and demonstrating solutions and mapping capabilities with associated business value to business decision maker persona pains/needs. In this role you will help enable field sales teams to gain skills and capabilities to not only to run sales deals with world class execution, compete to win and contribute to Biz Apps revenue but also teach the sales force to delight our customers helping them realize value from their investments in Dynamics 365 Applications.

Who we are Looking For:
The WW Business Applications Readiness Business Value Management Director is a senior leadership position directly responsible for helping shape the Microsoft Business Applications go to market strategy and field readiness on business value aligned to the five industry areas: Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail and Government.
As a WW Readiness Business Value Management Director, you will collaborate across Microsoft organizations including Industry team, Business value team, Product Marketing Team, Engineering team and WW Business Applications Readiness team to shape Industry content relevant to Business Applications. You will help build the business use case frames to guide the Business Applications Readiness team to build content with a business value solution focus.
You are a business transformation expert with a broad range of business value computation knowledge, you will be responsible to:
Work with stakeholders to strategize Business value from Microsoft Industry cloud solution offerings focusing on infusing outcome driven selling backed by business value for Business Application solutions in the broader Microsoft Industry Cloud offering
Responsible for updating existing business value content in Industry Solution Business Application Use case frames and build new business value frames by collaborating in closed feedback loops with the field, business value team, Global Blackbelt sales team, key customers, and partners.
Keep current on business value key trends and the solution mapping and with product innovation.
Serve as business value SME working closely with business value team & Engineering team to advice and influence the future product innovation priorities
Serve as the evangelist and deliver Business value Key Note events, WW sales community calls, Live Virtual Training events, Webinars etc.
Deliver world class onboarding training on business value with focus on Business Applications products/solutions to WW Sales Teams.
Deliver “Keeping Current” business value readiness keeping with product innovations and customer business transformations needs for Industry.
Maintain deep knowledge and skill level for business value while demonstrating expertise on mapping business application solutions to business value.
Act as subject-matter expert when called upon for curriculum development involving business value
Serve as SME for development of solution demo vignettes and demo scenarios to ensure business value is accurately represented.
5+ years of experience in a Business Transformation advisory role with experience mapping customer outcome based selling with business value
3+ years experience in sales, pre-sales or consulting experience in Business Application SaaS solutions, or competitive equivalent CRM/ERP
1+ years experience in classroom style training events
Experience in a team environment with multi-million-dollar business app led Industry Business Transformation strategy in advisory, sales, pre-sales or service deals requiring orchestration of large, dispersed, virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, team members.
Experience with C Level presentations and agreement on Business Transformation Strategy
Demonstrated passion and commitment for customer success.
Excels at developing strong relationships and leadership connections and influencing for impact in large team environments.
Adept at challenging perspectives with new ideas that reframes thinking about deriving value from Microsoft solutions.s
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. MBA a plus.
Deep Understanding of:
Business processes and business process transformation and associated business value
2 or more of the following Industries: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Government, Retail and Financial Services.
ERP and or CRM solutions.
The security, regulatory and compliance needs of global customers.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft’s commercial cloud offerings – including Modern Workplace, Microsoft Azure is preferred but required.
Awareness of the latest business value selling methodologies, practices and technologies that drive sales prospecting and sales management in complex solution selling environments.
