We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Data Analytics star for our Boston (Charlestown) office. Our Analytics Director role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who understands how digital is connected to every aspect of a client business. This Director of Analytics will have an excellent understanding of digital media measurement and reporting and plays a lead role in defining testing and measurement plans, designing and building custom reports and dashboards, and translating complex analyses into meaningful insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, exceptional communication and presentation skills, and experience analyzing and modeling data from a variety of sources.
Here's what you?ll do in your Director of Analytics role:
Lead, mentor, recruit and manage a team of analysts in our Boston offices.
Vision, develop and manage our analytics capabilities and roadmap.
Develop and own campaign measurement strategies and reporting solutions for clients across a wide range of industries
Utilize a variety of web analytics, data management and B.I. tools (Power BI, Google Analytics, Doubleclick, SQL, AWS, Excel, and various digital measurement services, Cuebiq, Invoca, etc.)
Extract, transform, load and blend data from multiple sources, while maintaining strict standards for data quality and accuracy
Design and develop custom client-facing reports and dashboards to visualize key patterns and trends
This role will work with agency and client teams to plan, measure, and optimize the effectiveness of the agency efforts and campaigns.
Lead conversations with cross-agency teams to develop data-driven insights and recommendations, optimize media performance, and identify opportunities to deliver added value and enhance client relationships
Work with data science teams to develop testing strategies and contribute to advanced analytics projects (segmentation, attribution, media mix, etc.)
Develop and present findings to clients and senior-level stakeholders
To excel in this position, you should have the following:
Bachelor?s degree required, preferably in Economics, Math, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field
5+ years of data analytics experience required
Management or team leadership experience
Proven advanced data manipulation and analysis skills in SQL and Excel (familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, DOMO, VBA a plus)
Familiarity with digital media campaigns and channels (paid search, display, social, CRM, mobile apps, etc.) preferred
