Danaher Corporation Director, Large Channel Partner Management in Boston, Massachusetts

Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions

The Director of Large Channel Partner Management will build and maintain senior level relationships within our largest channel partners to benefit our Operating Companies' (OpCo) successful growth through these channels. The position will have responsibility for the channels growth goal and will improve activities in new product launches, industry strategies, and OpCo collaboration activities around the globe. The Channel Partner Director will play a critical role in leading and performing in several core areas, including:

  • Build the appropriate standard work for establishing & maintaining channel relationships for the OpCo. Determine right approach for each channel partner for most effective results.

  • Develop key relationships with OpCos Distribution Leaders. Mentor and guide escalation of OpCo specific issues as needed. Deepen relationships with OpCos through coordination of business reviews and sales meetings.

  • Collaborate with Channel partner sales & marketing leaders and teams to understand needs/gaps and develop strategies that can apply across multiple OpCos.

  • Promote individual OpCo strengths to encourage other OpCos to adopt similar methodologies

  • Coach and educate OpCo Leaders on how to use a successful Large Channel Partner to accelerate OpCo Growth.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of full sales cycle experience, 3+ years of global Enterprise Sales experience.

  • 4+ years experience working with organization leaders

  • Strong understanding of the industry and Life Sciences Instruments Group products and services. Track record of success in using Large Channel Partners to accelerate growth

  • A deep understanding of the global Large Channel landscape

  • Ability to drive significant outcomes at an OpCo/Platform level without direct authority, with a history of shaping opinions across business and strategy leadership.
