We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Director, Investment Strategy Insights to help set and execute a thought leadership and marketing strategy that helps us win and retain business. The mission of the role is to help educate and inform the marketplace and our Sales partners about how to solve investor challenges using systematic, rules-based investment portfolios. The ideal candidate will have an unfailing instinct for what makes for impactful investment marketing, a strategic newsroom mindset, and bring a creative and positive attitude to getting things done.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Establish and maintain a comprehensive, unified strategic plan for Parametric's thought leadership and marketing activities and ensure its completion. This could include written material, such as blogs, papers, and sales decks (internal and external use); as well as videos, audiocasts, webinars, live events, and media interviews. - Act as a liaison between the firm's Marketing, Distribution, and Investment teams to ensure content meets investor needs, fits within the strategic plan, follows best practices, and is produced efficiently and effectively. - Aid subject matter experts (SMEs) ideate and create compelling, user-friendly written content across a range of formats and audiences, via ongoing brainstorming and thorough, proactive, and exacting editing; and ensure that SMEs are fully prepared for media and events. - Diligently study the competition and leading producers of investment content to ensure Parametric's thought leadership and marketing exceeds in terms of quality and usefulness. - Maintain inventory of expired and current content to help ensure consistency, avoid redundancy, and identify content gaps - Identify, track and evaluate metrics to enhance recommendations and decision making - Design and/or contribute to thought leadership and marketing related processes and trainings, and lead internal meetings to accomplish goals - Maintain general working knowledge of Parametric product offerings, client requirements, and the investment landscape including timely market developments - Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS - MBA, CFA, or Masters Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. - 10 years of related work experience - Expertise in quantitative investing and portfolio management (risk modeling, optimization, factor investing, index construction, tax management, derivatives) - Ability to understand financial theory and operational considerations, and their implications for current or potential strategies - Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to be a thought leader and present complex material to clients, investment advisors, consultants or at industry conferences. - Strong editorial experience and copy editing skills - Deep knowledge of investment industry and familiarity with business development and client relationship best practices - Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders on strategic decisions - Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritize, and coordinate simultaneous projects and tasks with a high attention to detail - Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and use new technologies for process efficiency

Salary range for the position: $140,000 - $300,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
