What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent Health is seeking a Director, Growth to be a member of our primary care business, Evolent Care Partners. Evolent Care Partners’ mission is to partner with primary care organizations across the country to improve patient outcomes and reduce avoidable healthcare costs. We are a lean, nimble, and fast-paced team looking for innovators and disruptors with a passion for improving healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize publicly available data and subscribed databases to qualify opportunities to grow ECP’s network of independent primary care providers

  • Build and maintain market-facing collateral to educate providers on ECP’s partnership model and value proposition

  • Build and maintain financial model for evaluating potential provider partnerships in collaboration with ECP’s leadership and actuarial teams

  • Lead multi-functional, multi-department diligence process across multiple prospects to evaluate the financial, operational and clinical opportunity of potential provider partnerships

  • Support contracting and negotiation process, and solicit buy-in from internal stakeholders

  • Lead annual process to evaluate prior year’s campaign, identify lessons learned, and update all materials, datasets, models, processes for the following year’s campaign

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years management consulting

  • 2+ years healthcare payer and/or provider experience

  • 5+ years total experience across business development, provider network development, and/or management consulting

  • Strong experience in financial modeling, multi-workstream management, and Powerpoint

  • Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong interest in sales and contracting

  • Collaborative approach and passionate about innovation in healthcare

Finishing Touches (Preferred):

  • MBA

  • Knowledge and familiarity with value-based total cost of care models such as Medicare ACOs and Medicare Advantage capitated contracts

Technical requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The typical range of employees within the compensation grade of this position is . Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
