About the Role:
As the Healthcare Professional (HCP) Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for building and executing the Ostomy Care HCP strategy while leveraging tools, expertise and best practices from our Marketing Center of Excellence (MCoE). You will work collaboratively with the Digital Global Marketing team, our Medical Affairs and Clinical team as well as the MCoE to translate the strategies and messaging into impactful content to be delivered at the appropriate time through the optimal channel during the stakeholder journey. You will collaborate with local marketing teams to ensure content is regionalized as appropriate.
You will also work with the Sales Excellence CoE to ensure optimal use of the CRM and e-detailing tools to help HCPs progress through the buying process.
Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand end-to-end HCP experience with our Ostomy brands and create appropriate strategy for segmenting stakeholders and reaching them with appropriate message to progress in their journey
Partner with our clinical and medical affairs teams to translate the clinical performance of our products into strong and compelling messaging to HCPs
Work with the MCoE on best practices for segmenting the HCP customer base and optimize the channels to best reach these segments
Work with Sales Excellence CoE to ensure marketing-driven leads are captured/scored in CRM, and e-detailing tools are populated with impactful content and fully leveraged by local sales teams
Translate the technical verbatim of Ostomy product offerings into engaging storytelling and snackable content to deploy in various channels
Work with local marketing & sales teams as well as the MCoE to drive stakeholders through the buying process funnel with timely and relevant content as well trialing and selecting best channels through which to deliver messaging
Enable the gathering of HCP insights about their Ostomy challenges to support better messaging and ultimately, new products and solution design
Partner with local marketing teams to ensure global connection to KOL initiatives
Migrate the division to a performance marketing mindset: Build and track audience and impact metrics
Build a yearly HCP communication activation roadmap per brand and execute on it
Drive globalization of assets and enable local deployment minimizing the local resources needed
Share local and global best practices on HCP communication for Ostomy Business Unit
Internal: Consumer Global Marketing, Marketing CoE, Sales Excellence CoE, Local Sales & Marketing, R&D, RA/QA, IT, Finance
External: Nurses, Doctors
Travel Requirements: 25% of the time
As a proven marketing leader with deep experience in healthcare professional interactions across global markets, you excel in crafting compelling messaging by highlighting the most salient clinical evidence. You are able to use influence and foster collaboration to ensure stakeholder and cross functional alignment. With your excellent communication skills across a variety of stakeholder levels, you have the proven ability to influence globally and cross-functionally and possess strong experience in driving a culture of execution excellence. You understand how to translate HCP buying process pain points into compelling messaging, driving an organizational product selection.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in HCP marketing or a related function
Experience creating compelling HCP-facing solutions and clinical story-telling on a global scale
Pharmaceutical, MedTech or related industry/product knowledge required
Previous experience in the Ostomy Care market is desired, but not required
