Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Financial Services Solutions for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Help lead and execute our sales program to grow our Majesco and other practices with insurance leadership team and KPMG Majesco and alliance leaders to set up and execute sales campaigns with existing and new clients, both MPP and non-MPP clients

  • Work closely with Majesco and KPMG lead partners, ARDs and KPMG outbound national market team to engage closely with their sales teams and account teams to build relationships, create opportunity and close business

  • Bring focus, energy and go-to-market/sales skills to grow our business and improve close-rates and pro-actively reach out to insurers based on either KPMG, Majesco or clients identified via the KPMG outbound National markets team

  • Create and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts associated to substantiated opportunities and close sales

  • Engage in Account Management, including Account planning, Meeting follow-up, Pipeline development, Opportunity pursuit, Contract negotiation, Proposal and Statement of Work development

  • Demonstrate excellence in applying strategic selling techniques to qualify opportunity and gain insights from win/loss reviews as input to the integrated sales management process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent demonstrated successful sales and/or consulting services experience in small, medium and large organizations

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience

  • Experience in both software and services sales with knowledge in the insurance industry

  • Strong industry knowledge; sales, consulting or working for an insurer with the ability to demonstrate tangible experience in formal sales process deployment and use

  • Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of impeccable trust, confidence and results

  • Ability to travel regularly

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
