RealSure is expanding and looking for a dynamic leader for the integral role of Director, Community Marketing, reporting to the VP, PR, Crisis and Field Marketing. This individual will oversee the strategic and marketing mix planning and execution of local marketing activities for the RealSure brand across the country. This dynamic leader will oversee a team of district managers to drive brand awareness and differentiation with agents, deepen community relationships in current markets, support new market launches and identify local marketing partnerships that reinforce the Realsure brand. This leader has excellent communication skills, loves creative idea generation that aligns with strategic goals, and is excited about the potential of growing a brand from the ground up and ushering in new levels of growth and success at RealSure.

This role is 100% remote . We tend to work EST/CT hours, but are flexible and empowering. We will get together monthly for strategic meetings and offsites, rotating between NY/Chicago/LA depending on weather and seasonality + local activations and field events. This will require 20-30% travel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of innovative strategies to drive agent awareness and agent of RealSure products, including on the ground agent education and activation via touchpoints including in-person, email, social and alternative channels in collaboration with product and revenue teams across RealSure.

  • Build a localized community marketing strategy that drives brand awareness and engagement in support of RealSure strategies and business goals. Collaborate with the revenue team to maximize impact of initiatives to drive growth.

  • Out of the box creative thinker, always willing to push the boundaries and find ways to do more with less (and make an impact!)

  • Support the development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new market launches in collaboration with marketing, product, revenue teams across RealSure.

  • Identify and develop localized marketing partnerships and opportunities for Realsure to drive brand equity and awareness in support of Realsures strategies and goals.

  • Manage, coach, train, and develop a team of district management professionals to ensure flawless execution of programs that will grow brand awareness with consumers and field agents.

  • Share insights and best practices through open communication, recaps, & reports.

Your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of public relations experience.

  • 3-5+ years of experience managing dispersed/field teams with strong ability to translate priorities and work through others.

  • A proven track record for supporting new brands and developing innovative grassroots marketing campaigns and approaches. A history of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies and activations preferred.

  • Exceptional ability to think outside the box / creatively as well as identify trends and insights and turn them into action and structured thinking.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with multiple constituents, including peers and executive management.

  • Ability to articulate & present ideas and recommendations at and to an executive level.

  • Skilled in managing and prioritizing shifting responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional project and budget management skills.

  • Background in event management or planning.

  • Experience in leveraging social media and other emerging technologies or channels for hyper local marketing.

This position can be performed anywhere except Colorado.
