Fidelity Investments Director, Executive Services Data & Reporting in Boston, Massachusetts
The Director, Executive Services Data-Driven Insights will help develop the solutions necessary to support Plan Sponsors on the performance of the executive services program. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders and business partners in PI, WI and SPS to redefine and develop reporting, analytics & other solutions that provide new insights into the performance of the Executive Services program from the perspective of plan sponsors. In addition, you will be considered a thought-leader on the SPS team for how to improve our reporting & analytical capabilities in support of Plan Sponsors and our operating performance.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, computer science or equivalent with 10 to 12 years of experience or Master's degree with 8 to 10 years of experience
Experience working directly with clients in a consultative manner to understand their needs and deliver analyses that exceed the initial ask and their expectations
Knowledge of employer sponsored benefits, including but not limited to equity compensation programs is preferred
Experience working in an agile environment
5 years in a data analysis role with experience in working with databases such as Teradata, Oracle, IBM DB2 etc., using SQL or SQL based applications
5 years’ experience in using statistical tools such as SQL, SPSS, SAS etc.
3 years in working with data visualization applications like Tableau or Qlic and new analytics tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.
Expertise in working closely with business and technology partners to establish direction for scaling the analytics
Experience with big data analytics and statistical modelling is a definite plus* *
The Purpose of Your Role
SPS Data-Driven Insights is embarking on a new journey, evolving from reactive business support and reporting to proactive on-demand analytics that provide greater insight and action steps for the SPS leadership team. business leaders. The team uses an Agile operating model to provide insights to senior executives, clients and our business partners to improve the SPS experience for our Plan Sponsors and Participants. This role will be part of the SPS Data-Driven Insights team with a specific focus on supporting the Executive Services (EPC) program. As part of that work, you will need to understand the role that employer sponsored benefit and equity compensation plays in our participants’ lives and leverage that understanding to develop analyses that will help SPS communicate the performance of the Exec Services program both to Fidelity leadership and to our Plan Sponsors who have adopted this program or who may be adopting this program.
The Skills You Bring
Proven track record of owning and managing large pieces of work, including the design, development and implementation of a solution from understanding the need to delivery of insights
History of successfully engaging with key stakeholders internally (e.g., business partners, executives) and externally (e.g., Plan Sponsors) to understand their strategic objectives and corresponding needs to deliver insights / information in an efficient and timely manner
Self-starter who enjoys taking the lead on decisions at the project level, and determining the approach, tools, and output required for each deliverable / MVP
Steller organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to deliver materials quickly to clients with time-sensitive needs
Proven ability to work independently using advanced analytical tools to gather data, analyze the information and uncover key insights that can be presented through data visualizations to answer a broad range of highly complex business questions
Exceptional communication skills that include an ability to actively listen, ask clarifying questions, show an understanding of the needs of the stakeholder and give them confidence that they have come to the right place to address their needs
Experience navigating the Fidelity organization to find best practices and leverage the work of our business partners to provide new tools and services to the SPS business
A desire to work collaboratively with team members across sites and provide direction when needed to ensure more junior team members gain the required skills to execute against existing projects

The Value You Deliver
Provide on-demand metrics for and about the Executive Services program
Build self-service dashboards for executives and managing directors that provide overviews of the impact of the program and enables further drill-downs into the information to answer client questions in a controlled, risk-free environment
Work closely with executives focused on improving the plan sponsor experience by surfacing new insights on both client and plan performance
Support the business with statistically-significant analyses that drive toward better outcomes for our participants, plan sponsors and Fidelity
Provide analytical support for cross-fidelity initiatives in partnership with the PI Executive Services Squad.
Explore the potential for expanded analytic capabilities (e.g.predictive modelling)
