Job Description

Location of this position is flexibleThe Director of Digitalization role is a strategic role that will be tasked with developing strategies and solutions that have the potential to transform current business models and/or create new revenue streams. Starting as an individual contributor, successful individuals will work with the commercial, business development, innovation and information technology organizations to develop digital solutions that unlock new opportunities for the apparel business. The Director of Digitalization will also work closely with our functional teams to identify the business requirements for information technology systems that are central to delivering products and solutions to our customers. Finally, as a thought leader, successful candidates will also identify potential technology disruptors and challenge other product line leaders to evaluate digital solutions that may obsolete their current solution offering.


  • Collaborate with our digital market development team to develop the end-to-end digital ecosystem and innovation strategy aimed at replacing physical solutions with digital ones and delivering new revenue streams for the apparel business.

  • Create or partner to develop a digital solutions portfolio that unlocks new market opportunities around personalization/customization, wearable technology, etc.

  • Actively participate in the digital ecosystem to understand and identify emerging technologies and companies with the potential to enhance or disrupt our solutions portfolio. Identify potential partnership or venture investment opportunities for further evaluation.

  • Understand digital trends (artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, blockchain architecture, etc.) and forward-thinking technologies to address challenges across the ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with the product line management team to ensure digital solutions are incorporated into individuals product line strategies.

  • Coordinate with the Global IT team to ensure that our fundamental business information processes support the needs of the evolving digital solution strategy.

  • Demonstrate thought leadership on new technology and innovation, including customer engagement on our leadership position in addressing the challenges in the apparel industry through our digital strategy.

  • Building network of contacts internally and externally to support role



  • Experience managing a business or function with annual turnover >$200 million.

  • Prior product management - market understanding, product lifecycle management, product line strategy development and execution, innovation roadmap development - experience in highly customized business.

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital industry or related field, preferably an organization that has undergone a digital transformation.

  • Proven track record of successful change management.

  • Experience operating within and/or managing complex information technology systems that are fundamental to the customer experience. Experience in monetizing data, a plus.

  • Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing product strategies in a global organization.

  • Previous experience with digital workflows and variable data management highly preferred.
