SCHEDULE: Full-time

Anthem’s Digital Experience Group is looking to hire a Director of Digital Solutions on their Provider Digital Experiences Team. This people manager will be responsible for connecting together the needs of all stakeholders (customers, business partners, technology enablers) and generating a digital solutions strategy to move Anthem to the next level. He/she will be accountable for providing vision and direction to a team of associates who construct the solutions based on that strategy and vision. He/she will collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside the organization to evangelize the vision and orchestrate execution and delivery. Our ideal experience is with product development of data heavy, data driven digital platform products, including web applications and desktop apps.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Works with Product Strategy to define the digital strategic vision and roadmap and priorities and ensures team and vendors are aligned with vision and strategy. Acts as the enterprise product owner for the solution; understands product, business, and competitive landscape. Communicates strategy and roadmap to business partners and coordinates work with functional areas across business, operations, technology and design. Identifies and resolves strategic issues that may impair the ability of their direct reports to meet goals. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.


Requires a BA/BS degree in related digital solutions field, MBA or equivalent preferred; 10 years of experience with digital product management with digital assets including 5 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly preferred experience:

• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology, supporting & mentoring resources operating at Scrum, Program, Solution & Portfolio layers

• Excellent Stakeholder communication/management skills including but not limited to, presenting to Senior/Executive level leadership

• Domain knowledge of the Provider space both care management as well as administrative capabilities (Claims remittance, eligibility & benefits, prior authorization, credentialing & onboarding)

• Experience with Availity platform (or similar vendors)

• Experience in change management with respect to teams
