RealSure is expanding and looking for a dynamic leader for the integral role of Director, Content Strategy, Reporting to the VP of Brand for RealSure . This dynamic leader will translate RealSure’s business objectives to set strategic direction as well as lead the development of relevant, engaging and high-performing content that drives engagement and conversion. This individual will also oversee the development of strategies for organic content distribution, including social media. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for breakthrough content creation, a love of bold and innovative ideas, and is inspired by the idea of bringing a new brand to life and ushering in new levels of growth and success at RealSure.

This role is 100% remote . We tend to work EST/CT hours, but are flexible and empowering. We will get together monthly for strategic meetings and offsites, rotating between NY/Chicago/LA depending on weather and seasonality. This will require 10-15% travel (2-3 days a month).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development of RealSure’s content strategy to drive compelling and breakthrough activations and storytelling that supports RealSure’s business and brand objectives and goals.

  • Lead the development of a robust content and editorial calendar with associated strategies and action plans in collaboration with Communications, Product Marketing, and Brand.

  • Oversee organic and partner with performance marketing on paid content distribution, including all social media publishing, on-site blog content, syndication and sponsored content monitoring and reporting, providing strategic recommendations on optimization opportunities.

  • Forge new content relationships with external partners and influencers in partnership with the Public Relations and field/agent teams.

  • Develop and implement a strategy to leverage our hyper local knowledge and relevance.

  • Oversee RealSure’s owned social media platforms including local activation and management of community response and crisis escalation.

  • Partner with marketing analytics to track results for all efforts, and lead the development of consistent reporting that will inform future strategy.

  • Supervise agency and platform vendor relationships and determine methodologies to increase performance and capacity. Partner with performance marketing to improve marketing technology stack as needed.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related creative field.

  • 10+ years experience in marketing or related field.

  • 5+ years experience in a content strategy and creative leadership role.

  • A passion for visual storytelling through creative editorial content with the ability and desire to experiment, break the mold, and get scrappy.

  • Exceptional writing skills.

  • Ability to develop a high-performing internal talent as well as partner with agencies and vendors to maximize collective potential.

  • Experience with wide range of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Tik Tok as well as content and digital asset management systems.

  • Experience in leveraging content across the full funnel with the creative vision to be successful and technical know-how (including SEO) to defined significantly impact key metrics.

  • Proven leader who has a track record of managing a fast-paced content team and on-time delivery of projects.

  • Proven success in implementing efficient and effective processes around customer service and crisis management.

  • Come ready to help scale and grow an organization.

This position can be performed anywhere except Colorado.
