Director, Brand Management and Business Development (Walmart)

We are hiring an experienced Director, Brand Management and Business Development. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategy, managing growth, and acting as the key point of contact for the Walmart account across all channels of business (Licensing, eMarketplace, Wholesale). They will ensure responsible, sustainable and profitable growth, reaching top line and bottom-line financial targets and ensure all channels are aligned to the overall account strategy. Additionally, they will work closely with the GM of NAM, Sr. Director of Wholesale, Head of Licensing and Sr. Director of eCom and CTC.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the key point of contact for the Walmart organization, internally and externally, across all channels of business

  • Create and drive the overall Reebok Walmart account strategy and ensure alignment across wholesale, eMarketplace and Licensing channels

  • Responsible for top and bottom-line financial targets for the Walmart business

  • Create and implement marketing plans across channels to drive growth on and ensure best Brand experience instore

  • Address any cross-functional challenges and drive teams to solutions

  • Work with CTC and key external vendors on cohesive assortment plan each season

  • Work directly with external partners and finance to ensure margin targets are achieved

  • Drive clear communication across all levels of the organization

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of the Walmart organization and business landscape across all channels (brick and mortar, .com and emarketplace)

  • Ability to create and set clear strategic business plans and align targets across diverse teams

  • Strong communication skills and ability to drive clarity across all levels of the organization

  • Experience working with key wholesale accounts in sales or .com

  • Very strong leadership skills and ability to synthesize diverse teams and drive shared goals

  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. communication, negotiation)

  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. business planning, strategic development)

  • Broad and deep functional skills (e.g. Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT)

  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge


  • Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/Marketing highly preferred

  • 8-10 years of relatable work experience

  • Experience working with the Walmart organization and business landscape

  • Cross-functional experience ideally in marketing / sales / finance

  • Digital Marketplace experience preferred

  • Similar Industry experience in sporting goods / retail / consumer goods highly preferred
