The Alliances & Channels (A&C) M&A Integration team is seeking a M&A Systems Integration Team Leader. Our A&C M&A team sits on the front lines of our acquisitions and orchestrates every aspect of integrating acquired company’s Alliances function into Salesforce. In this role, you will foster and lead integration team members responsible for the integration of partner’s systems and related business processes for all of Salesforce’s acquisitions!
This role will transform how we integrate and scale our acquired companies, specifically its partner ecosystem, in alignment with the overall Go-To-Market strategy. You will serve as the leader accountable for the systems integration strategy to support the growth of our partners business for each acquisition. You will work closely with our executive leadership, acquired company leadership, and multi-functional teams including Business Technology and Go-To-Market to establish alliances business decisions and drive the integration roadmap.
The successful candidate brings experience in mentoring and leading teams of business architects to drive business process and system integration. You will need to have technical breadth of business systems and process flows to support a successful Alliance business. The ideal candidate will have a confirmed track-record of driving sophisticated multi-functional / integration projects and a demonstrable understanding of Go-to-Market functions and running an Alliances business.
Lead and grow a team of systems integration managers responsible for the integration of partner processes and systems including lead to cash processes, partner support and program, and interim and long term solutioning.
Build trusted relationships with A&C leaders, Acquired Alliances teams, Business Technology, GTM teams and the Integration Management Office. Engage with these teams on a regular basis to ensure integration success across multiple acquisitions.
Define and implement systems integration roadmaps identifying and enhancing synergies across multiple small and large acquisitions. Team activities include systems discovery, fit-gap analysis, process and requirements definition, post implementation change management and support.
Develop a playbook and scorecard to accelerate scalability of integration across multiple acquisitions.
Represent and clearly articulate vision, strategy and priorities of our A&C business to the broader integration program. Translate business objectives to process and system needs.
Stay up to date on Consulting Partners, Reseller Partner, ISV Partner strategy and program changes.
Drive decisions for system design changes with Business Technology that align with A&C objectives, GTM strategy, integration guiding principles, and data quality & governance standards.
Implement the organizational change of system and process changes.
Identify areas of opportunities within the A&C M&A Team to cultivate growth, continued alignment between various team members and achieve operational efficiencies.
Desired Skills & Experiences
BA/BS or MA/MS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; MBA a plus, but not required
8+ years of leading technology / systems teams
Deep functional understanding of Lead to Cash process and go-to-market selling motions
Proven success with enterprise application implementations
Clearly articulate complicated system concepts to non-technical teams
Software Industry M&A integration experience preferred, focus on Go to Market (GTM) functions is a plus
Familiarity with best practices in data quality concepts and governance standards
Demonstrated ability to strike a good balance between big picture planning and detailed level execution tracking
Strong executive engagement and influence skills
Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
Grace under fire, ability to operate across multiple projects simultaneously with accelerated timeline
For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual salary of $146,200. You may also be entitled to receive bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
