OVERVIEW

The Corporate Services Digital Solutions Director is a new, exciting, and rewarding position within the Corporate Services Team at Sodexo, reporting into the Corporate Services Digital Solutions Senior Director. We are looking for someone with a combination of strong technical solution sales skills to serve as the technical solutions specialist for all digital tools in our portfolio, and partner with sales and operations to deliver desired client outcomes. In this dynamic individual contributor role on our growing team your key responsibilities of the role include creating technical and digital solutions for customers and communicating the value of these solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and technical proposals.

You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. They must foster a culture of trust, teamwork, and continued improvement both personally and professionally. This is a remote based position with travel up to 50%. Prefer candidates based on east coast near D.C, Boston, or Atlanta.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set and execute the Digital Solution Strategy

  • Work collaboratively to build, execute and measure the impact of digital solutions for our customers.

  • Work directly with Operations, Sales, and Operations Teams to support their technical needs; POCs, implementation, requirements, etc.

  • Create and deliver energetic and in-depth solution presentations and demonstrations for potential and current customers - both remotely and at customer sites.

  • Articulate the value of digital solutions and usage of data to impact customer business outcome.

  • Respond to incoming technical inquiries from customers and partners to educate and influence their buying decisions

  • Ongoing, proactive learning, including incorporating and sharing new knowledge and skills into your regular on the job activities

  • Collaborate with transparency, integrity and respect that reflects a positive attitude

  • Continually look for opportunities to improve products, processes, and customer experience.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: Travel is required within US and Canada to help with technical solution design sales however, where we are able, we greatly promote the use of the video conferencing where appropriate.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to:

  • Formulate and communicate a technical solution / vision

  • Present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes

  • Communicate highly technical information clearly and concisely to peers and customers verbally, in written communications and learning and training situations.

  • Create clarity for the business and customers during times of ambiguity and uncertainty

  • Leverage data analytics to inform recommendations or decisions

  • Be Resilient and create clarity of thought under pressure

  • Work in a fast paced, changing (and sometimes trying) environment

  • Solid business acumen and executive presence

  • Flexibility and capability to function in a high growth environment

  • Strong collaboration skills, preferably with experience across matrixed organizations

  • Foundational project management experience

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Good judgment and decision-making skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical solution sales OR 3 years operating technical solutions in a food service or hospitality driven environment.

  • Experience designing, selling, identifying, testing, operating and/or implementing digital solutions

  • Basic competitive knowledge including solution, technology, and product offerings.

  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
