Location/Division Specific Information

We are looking for a digital marketer who specializes in and is passionate about Paid Search (SEM) to join the Global SEM team in the Biosciences Division (BID), nested under the Life Sciences and Laboratory Products Group (LSLPG).

How will you make an impact?

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will own planning, launching, and optimizing SEM campaigns and long-term SEM initiatives that result in channel growth and efficiency! You are proactive, analytical and data-driven with a strong interest in technical SEM and automation. You love to apply your project management skills, you are comfortable adapting to new processes, tools, and search industry shifts, and you enjoy making connections and collaborating with large, diverse teams across the organization and around the globe

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with team members to develop, implement, measure, and optimize SEM campaigns, aligned with business goals.

  • Lead projects, prioritizing based on performance impact and team focus areas.

  • Leverage data to advance SEM strategies, track and report campaign and channel effectiveness, uncover relevant insights, and identify channel optimization opportunities to ensure the highest possible return on marketing spend.

  • Proactively identify causes and solutions to issues or unexpected performance through analysis.

  • Test, evaluate and implement new strategies and technologies, as well as influence the wider corporate marketing organization to embrace and deploy emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies at scale.

  • Provide project status updates to your partners and set expectations on timelines, communicate accomplishments, and mitigate risks.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships, and communicate regularly with business partners and leadership to develop an up-to-date and in-depth understanding of business strategy and goals.

  • Lead strategic channel projects and ad-hoc requests under minimal direction, prioritizing high-impact projects.

  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and follow agile principles as part of an agile team, using project management software.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience

  • 7+ years experience in B2C and B2B customer-focused digital marketing and eCommerce, and an expert-level understanding of paid search and respective channel tools (e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads or other paid search engines, Adobe Media Optimizer, Kenshoo, Marin, DoubleClick or Search Ads 360).

  • Enterprise-level SEM account management experience involving multi-million-dollar advertising budgets.

  • Consistent track record of crafting and optimizing campaigns to constantly improve results

  • Experience with organic search and SEO tools (e.g. Moz, SEMRush, Conductor) strongly preferred.

  • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. WorkFront, Jira) preferred.

  • Interpersonal effectiveness and rapport building

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of leadership

  • Data analysis and interpretation, including proficiency in analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools (e.g Power BI, Tableau)

  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and prioritization skills

The salary range estimated for this position is $105,000 - $130,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
