Deposit Product Pricing Manager

Job Description:
The Deposit Product Pricing Manager is responsible for organizing and executing deposit interest rate and fee changes from an operational and analytical perspective. This role will develop requirements for pricing projects, analyze portfolio, measure strategy impacts, and lead issue management. This role will work closely with partners across several areas to advance key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute deposit product pricing strategy, leveraging deposit systems to implement changes
Research and escalate issues, identify root causes and support remediation to minimize client impact and operational loss
Track and evaluate portfolio performance and profitability
Develop reporting and controls for new business processes
Analyze deposit product strategies, initiative performance and client behavior trends for interest rates, fees, overdraft, refunds/waivers, and payment solutions
Form strong partnership with key partners across the enterprise, including legal, risk, compliance, product management, front-line units and technology
Required Skills:
Detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable to ever-changing requirements
Critical thinking with ability to analyze key data elements necessary to solve problems
Ability to translate business partner and leadership requests into actionable business requirements
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge the status quo
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
4 year degree
Experience with SQL/SAS coding
Experience with Interact and/or Synergy
Understanding of Consumer & Small Business products, channels, and financial performance measures/drivers
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Enterprise Role Description:
Responsible for reviewing and pricing products and services. Analyzes the profitability of the client and/or specific services, works up pricing recommendations, and implements and verifies pricing. Must work closely with Product managers on pricing strategies and involve Product managers on deals when necessary. Is responsible for communicating with sales officers and addressing pricing questions and/or issues from the Sales team. Must also be aware of the deal size and arrange for senior management approval calls. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a smaller team in developing and/or influencing pricing strategies and profitability. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs. Has extensive technical or functional knowledge of pricing strategies and models.
