Customer Segment Consultant - Consumer Investments Initiatives

Job Description:

Lead strategic initiatives and cross-organizational projects that impact the Consumer Investments organization and /or enterprise. Initiatives span strategic direction, regulatory responses, client experience, associate experience, and platform capabilities. The role will be responsible for leading and managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time, including program design, analysis, deliverables, communications and deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of strategic thinking, tactical planning and project management skills along with the ability to lead and influence project teams without direct management. The role requires the ability to develop strong partnerships and coordination with business partners in Consumer Investments and across lines of business, including Small Business, Consumer Lending and GWIM.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Working with leadership to develop strategic direction and establish implementation plans for project execution

  • Develop program framework, establish and document processes, build and deliver readiness materials and communications and drive technology requirement

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify mitigations, coordinate and execute governance stakeholder reviews and approvals

  • Establish project management and execution routines and drive decision making with cross-functional team of partners, stakeholders and leaders

  • Represent the Consumer Investments line of business in discussions with business leaders and support partners

  • Evaluate program performance, proactively identify opportunities for enhancement, and design and implement solutions

  • Mentor and support development of Customer Segment Consultant I team members

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of program management experience

  • Business acumen with proven ability to leverage expertise with credibility and impact

  • Strong working knowledge of Consumer Investment processes, systems and platforms in either Home Office, Field or Digital channels

  • Leadership skills and proven experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to influence partners and drive consensus

  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Office suite

  • Comfortable presenting to and interacting with leadership

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Desired Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of CMC (CI instance of Salesforce), Siebel

  • Familiar with Consumer Investments, GWIM and/or Consumer Banking tools and processes

  • Familiar with Retirement & Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS) solutions/processes
