Meta Creative Technical Lead in Boston, Massachusetts
Summary:
As Creative Technical Lead, you will join a team focused on imagining the future of media in the Metaverse. You will be hands-on in shaping Metaverse products and experiences that bring media into a future connected, 3D world, as well as actively managing and supporting shipping content from partner studios.

Creative Technical Lead Responsibilities:
Spearhead innovation efforts in the future of media
Lead productions of tentpole, innovative media experiences for VR headsets
Conceive of, test, and implement production workflows in new media at the intersection of immersive video and XR interactive experiences
Serve as an expert adviser in immersive media both to internal teams and external partners
Scale knowledge by generating learning materials for partners and the greater creator community
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with immersive video hardware and production techniques (360 and 180, monoscopic and stereoscopic)
Experience with technical video production, working knowledge of codecs, color spaces, best practices in encoding, etc.
Experience working between game engine and real-world photo-realistic assets (either directly, or managing productions)
Experience with real-world creative and technical production
Experience with Unity and/or Unreal
Effective communication skills, experience in communicating with audiences (non-technical and technical)
Proactive and driven, experience managing multiple, disparate projects simultaneously
Experience in a fast-paced, fluid, technical environment
3+ years experience in a leadership role in a relevant area (e.g., immersive media lead, creative technical director, lead technical artist, etc.)
6+ years of experience in production and/or shipping relevant content

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or relevant working experience
