Assists in the coordination, development and execution of internal communication materials (newsletters, internet/intranet pages, tip sheets, reports) on behalf of IT department, broadening knowledge and further developing skills. May assist in providing communication consultation to IT and other departments.


Coordinates the development and execution of internal IT-related communications (emails, newsletters) and collateral materials (tip sheets, digital posters, intranet articles). Assists with projects as needed, including scheduling emails and working on promotional material and presentation decks. Supports communications needs of IT department and/or corporate operations. Coordinates a variety of specialized communication responsibilities. Assists with monthly and quarterly analytics. Creates status updates for manager review. Other duties may be assigned.


No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.

  • EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BA/BS), preferably in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of one year of professional experience and/or training.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

  • REASONING ABILITY Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

  • OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Intermediate skills with Microsoft 365. Interest in and basic understanding of technology. Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus. Candidate should be responsible, self-motivated, solutions-oriented and proactive with a curiosity to learn.


Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to coworkers and supervisor.
