What You'll Do Here:

Supporting an internal communications plan and service model that helps to drive the goals of the business, the Communications Coordinator will coordinate and support the tactical components of several established communications programs and vehicles.

Specifically, the Communications Coordinator will:

  • Project manage and support the launch of new communications-related initiatives and programs; maintain and improve existing programs

  • Develop content for internal communications vehicles

  • Coordinate the digital signage program

  • Learn how to use corporate platform for sharing digital signage; responsible for creating and posting content for signs across U.S. offices

  • Develop editorial calendars and build a content library

  • Create digital signage slides using branded templates

  • Share digital signage content on a rolling basis in office locations nationally

  • Maintain the intranet and other internal channels

  • Post content on site based on established site infrastructure

  • Recommend improvements to site and tactics to drive traffic to side

  • Provide tactical support for employee communications programs and events.

  • Support the production of video communications.

  • Support communications events such as live town halls and monthly CEO webcasts.

  • Assist with distribution of messages via internal email campaign tool.

  • Build templates for messages, assist in gathering correct distribution lists, send messages and track and analyze readership.

  • Identify trends in readership and viewership; share recommendations to improve readership and viewership based on analysis.

  • Other ad-hoc communications needs

Skills You Will Need Here:

  • Has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or relevent experience

  • Is extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Is an excellent writer (provide portfolio or recent examples of corporate communications / PR writing samples; must be original work)

  • Has outstanding PowerPoint / Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Has proven project management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Is comfortable in a corporate environment / approaching people at all levels of the organization and is professionally persistent.

  • Will drive all projects to completion

  • Will chase down information; tactfully relentless to get what is needed to make progress

  • Has demonstrated initiative and drive and ability to work on tight deadlines.

  • Is professional, mature, responsible, reliable
