Robert Half Content Director in Boston, Massachusetts


Are you a storyteller with experience working in a professional services firm looking for a great new opportunity? We’re looking for a Content Director with 12+ years of relevant experience for a Content Manager with 8+ years of relevant experience for an exciting newly created position with our client in Boston. This is a hybrid (3/2) position. Competitive salary with significant bonus potential and profit sharing.

As Content Director or Content Manager, your primary role will entail working closely with the marketing and communications team to create original content. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and crafting content, managing the editorial calendar, maintaining existing assets, collaborating on channel management, and conceptualizing future content needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization to turn insights into marketing assets for various channels, including our website, social media, internal communications, video, etc.

• Work closely with the marketing and communications team to align the vision for collateral, express content in the firm’s brand voice and determine the most impactful distribution channels.

• Partner with external creative agencies to transform written content into engaging graphics and video.

• Create and execute the firm’s editorial calendar, which will encompass diverse forms of thought leadership throughout the year, such as blogs, reports, contributed articles, videos, podcasts, and other media.

• Update and maintain existing assets and channels with the latest information.

• Independently drive creative projects to completion, while providing regular reports on the success and reach of individual pieces of content.



• 12+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ for Manager level position), including, but not limited to, journalism or content-heavy marketing work.

• Exceptional storytelling capability with superior written communication skills.

• Team-oriented collaborator who brings unique ideas and proactive approach, and can confidently express and support their viewpoint.

• Intellectually curious individual with solid commercial instincts and the ability to interpret financial data and information.

• Poised and confident demeanor, capable of engaging with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.

• Highly organized self-starter able to manage multiple priorities and independently drive complex projects.

• Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills, receptive to change and willing to undertake any task.
