Wayfair Communications Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Wayfair is looking for a Communications Manager to join the Sales Communications team.<br><br></span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of the key differentiators of the Wayfair customer experience is our award-winning, in-house Sales team. Whether it’s helping customers find the perfect product, or working to resolve an issue regarding an order, our team helps build customer loyalty with each and every interaction. This role is an exciting opportunity to help drive internal and external communications across our growing Sales organization, which has centers in Massachusetts, Texas, Galway, and Virtual. The Communications Manager will play a key role in partnering with leadership and corporate teams to create compelling content to keep our sales team members informed and engaged about strategic initiatives, team news, engagement efforts, and more.</span></p>


<p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Support with the strategy and execution of employee communication efforts to our Sales organization as it relates to leadership and employee experience information</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Craft clever and compelling content to be shared through a variety of channels, including email, video, presentations, newsletters, events and more; tailoring efforts by audience</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with field leadership as they look to inform and engage their respective teams on key initiatives, programming, and employee offerings</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oversee the manager-specific communications strategy, ensuring our managers have the right mechanisms to stay up-to-date and cascade messaging as needed</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as the liaison with corporate functions, partnering on announcements or updates that need to reach the Sales population&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Champion communication best practices, helping create toolkits and resources to be used by Sales leadership across the organization&nbsp;</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop and track success measures and KPIs</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br><br></span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Proficiency in content creation</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to work cross-functionally and build partnerships</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Critical thinking with flexibility, openness to change and new information</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent project management and organizational skills</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong Google Suite skills such as Slides and Documents; proficient in Sheets</span></li>


<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Preferred:&nbsp;</span></p>


<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Communications professional with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (employee communications, integrated marketing, brand management, public relations)</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, or Marketing Communications</span></li>
