In this role, you will work closely with the CS Communications Director to develop strategic communications initiatives that advance the CS mission and org-wide goals. As a communications business partner you will also work with a CS Division VP on their internal and external executive communications and on the impact and awareness of the division’s priorities for our customers and employees. You will have the support and collaboration of your centralized communications team peers to share best practices and insights and to reinforce a sense of community, common purpose, and teamwork within the growing Customer Success organization. Could be a remote role in the US, preference towards West Coast, PST.

The CS Communications team is a good-humored group of communications professionals with expertise in communications strategy, content development, visual storytelling, compelling presentation development, program management, writing/editing, and graphics. Leveraging those skills, we connect the dots between the business goals and the real work our teams do to achieve those goals that have a meaningful impact in the world. And we have fun doing it.

Responsibilities

  • As a communications business partner, work with Division VP and Chief of Staff to tell the story of what the team is focused on and why

  • Advance the thought leadership position of the VP both internally and externally

  • Identify and collaborate with stakeholder groups to develop key program relationships, gain knowledge of the business, and drive meaningful content creation

  • Oversee management of the CS SharePoint intranet site and content strategy

  • Bring your love of visual storytelling and presentation design to bear on behalf of the division and CS vision, goals and progress

  • Develop proactive, comprehensive communication plans and content for CS-wide programs including communications strategy, stakeholder mapping, and multi-channel implementation

  • Contribute to the planning and curation of CS events throughout the year

  • Bring your creative spark and ideas to help us connect our CS team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven project management skills that demonstrate a high level of organization and the ability to drive projects to completion

  • Enthusiasm for story-telling that leverages strong visual communication capabilities

  • Robust experience developing communications strategies for large or complex organizations

  • Experience with external communications, corporate communications and/or PR

  • Highly-organized program management skills with an ability to persevere to get the job done

  • Strong written and verbal communication expertise

  • Innovative mindset that feels comfortable challenging the way things are “normally done”

  • Strong interpersonal skills including: flexibility, patience, creativity, and the ability to adjust working style to match different partnership and changing priorities

  • Strong collaborator but also comfortable running programs independently

  • Proficient with MS Office and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Mural, Asana, etc.

  • Experience in change management processes and principles a plus but not required

  • Experience working with a global team a plus but not required

  • Experience in the technology sector a plus but not required
