Job Description

The Communications Specialist works with the Executive Director of Communications to develop and support broad-based communication strategies with a particular focus on internal communications. S/he will work with the Executive Director in strategic communication planning and in managing tactical elements of communications. This will include working with the Website and Design Manager, academic and administrative departments and department leadership to plan and implement internal communications for the SPH community. This position will research, synthesize and produce effective, targeted communication materials for multiple print and digital news outlets; craft polished, high-level correspondence and contribute to the development, marketing and communication initiatives of SPH. S/he will support, coordinate, and advance the effectiveness of communications activities and monitor the latest developments in technology that enable improved communications. S/he will help assess and evaluate the efficacy of communications tools in use across the School, and externally when needed.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree with over 3 years experience required. Resume and Cover Letter Required.
