Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer
Job Description:
As the Chief Marketing Officer, will lead and elevate our marketing function to deliver on our firm’s vision and growth strategy. As a large and growing B2B professional services organization, this role oversees all of our marketing strategies and investments with a focus on using analytics and AI to guide decision making, drive measurable business growth and improve ROMI. This role will partner closely with leaders across Sales and Go-to-Market teams to ensure marketing and sales stays aligned and coordinated, from strategy to execution.
Your day-to-day may include:
Overall
Direct and optimize our marketing investments in alignment with our firm’s growth aspirations and target audience (investments include sponsorships, experientials / events and enterprise-wide campaigns, etc.).
Harness the power of AI and data-driven insights to improve marketing results and drive operational efficiencies.
Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation, collaboration and accountability.
Maintain a pulse on market shifts, client trends and competitor dynamics to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Demand Generation and Lead Conversion
Establish a compelling brand position and value proposition that resonates across all channels and differentiates our firm in the marketplace.
Guide the creation, execution and optimization of multi-channel enterprise campaigns, incorporating digital marketing (web, social, paid media, email) and content strategy.
Oversee and provide strategic direction for firmwide sponsorships and events, ensuring they align with business objectives, deliver measurable results, and generate a strong return on investment.
Partner with leaders across Sales and Go-to-Market to implement effective lead capture, nurture, scoring, qualification, and conversion.
Support inbound and outbound marketing efforts to identify and convert contacts and leads.
Marketing Execution
Establish and monitor KPIs through a rhythm-of-business that uses analytics and marketing attribution to understand performance and make decisions to optimize accordingly.
Ensure internal audiences and key stakeholders stay consistently informed about marketing performance and progress, as needed.
Track overall marketing allocations / budgets and monitor return on marketing investments.
Support and usage of AI and automation tools to accelerate execution and improve operational efficiency.
Other duties as assigned.
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced or Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of 13 plus years extensive experience in marketing leadership roles.
Proficiency in marketing technology platforms and AI tools.
Experience working in or familiarity with professional services sectors (Tax, Audit, Advisory) is a strong plus.
Proven success in demand generation, lead management, and brand building.
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging AI and data analytics to improve marketing processes.
Strong track record of aligning marketing strategies with sales priorities and delivering measurable growth.
Deep understanding of modern marketing techniques, including digital marketing and agile approaches.
Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and accountability.
Strong business acumen and analytical mindset, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Innovative mindset with the ability to balance innovation / experimentation with practical constraints.
Can travel as needed.
The base salary range for this position in our Bellevue, WA; San Francisco, CA; San Jose, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; and New York, NY offices is between $300,000 to $600,000.
