Channel Marketing Social Media Manager #240

job summary:

The Social Media Marketing Manager is an energetic, nimble and experienced champion of new and emerging communications channels, with proven success in social and mobile media. S/he will lead the day-to-day social media channel operations and oversee community management. S/he is responsible for program strategy, execution and measurement, leveraging customer insights, benchmarking and industry trends. S/he will advocate for, promote and educate the organization on social best practices, designing programs that fully leverage the platforms. As a member of the Channel Marketing team, s/he will interface with a cross-functional team of internal and business partners and clients to design and execute campaigns that drive measurable results and align with go-to market strategies. S/he will oversee the use of Sprinklr (an enterprise social media platform) to build and maintain a social content calendar and monitor social conversations across channels.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Develop a holistic social media strategy that includes product-specific social solutions and a comprehensive social experience across customers and consumers;

Develop community growth strategies for existing social channels and the development and execution of new social channels as appropriate;

Present compelling, insight-based strategies and creative to internal stakeholders, building consensus and enlists support, in coordination with internal creative team and agency partners;

Maintain an understanding of company products and services, market and competitive dynamics and channel best practices;

Ongoing creation of innovative, engaging content that adheres to brand guidelines, deadlines, budget and appropriate/necessary internal approvals;

Act as first-point-of-contact for business area requests for social media support, providing responsive development of urgent social communications (evening and weekend work sometimes needed);

Working with community manager, monitor and respond to social conversations / inbound messages;

Maintain metrics platform and produce weekly reporting on social media KPIs, including proactive recommendations for optimizing content;

Deliver regular campaign reporting to campaign managers and business owners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with 7+ years of experience in digital platforms with proven effectiveness in digital and social media marketing

Experience in growing media channels (strategy, creative execution and measurement)

Familiar with managing B2B and B2C campaigns

Agency or experience managing paid media campaigns (or managing agency teams) a plus

Impressive communication and presentation skills for multiple management levels, including senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to make sound business recommendations and decisions.

Detail-oriented, solutions-driven, organized, multi-tasker who works well under pressure with ability to manage complex projects to produce high-quality, effective campaigns

Past people management experience a plus

Healthcare experience and familiarity with HIPAA privacy a plus

strong PC and/or MAC skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Acrobat, Adobe

Experience using SMMS platforms (Hootsuite, Spredfast or Sprinklr - Sprinklr preferred), native platforms (i.e. Facebook Business Manager), social media listening tools

Adobe Omniture experience preferred, but not required
