Validity Channel Marketing Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

About the Role

Validity is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to help develop and execute our go-to-market strategy servicing our ecosystem of system integrators, managed service providers, independent software vendors, value-added resellers, and referral partners.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Channel Marketing, this role will work closely with our channel sales team to define and acquire new partners. The Channel Marketing manager will also ensure that Validity stays top-of-mind with our existing partners through the creation of engaging engagement, enablement, and training programs.

The ideal candidate is resourceful, a self-starter, unafraid of taking risks, can communicate clearly and concisely, and has experience working across an organization. In short - we’re looking for someone who can help us create a world-class experience for our partners.

Team Dynamic

The Channel Marketing Manager will play an integral part in Validity’s go-to-market partner strategy, contributing to a rapidly growing part of our business.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute on a holistic marketing strategy that promotes a consistent value proposition across all marketing platforms.

  • Design/deploy programs that meet demand/lead generation goals and translate directly into growing the number of partners we add to the program.

  • Develop customized marketing programs for partners to deploy to generate demand within their customer base - this person will often work alongside partner Account Managers and the partners themselves to achieve this.

  • Work with our sales enablement and product marketing teams to develop (or channelize) resources and trainings for our partners.

  • Assist in ownership of the channel marketing budget.

  • Work with the broader marketing operations, customer marketing, and sales teams to build programs to onboard new partners to ensure they find early success with their partnership.

    Required Experience, Skills, and Education

  • 7+ years of experience designing and managing channel marketing programs for a SAAS company.

  • Budget management experience, with solid analytical skills.

  • Experience determining program ROI to inform future activities/investments.

  • Experience growing/scaling partner channel programs.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and enterprise-level email marketing tools.

  • Highly creative with the ability to innovate new ways to generate interest and excitement among partner audiences.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

    Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education

  • This candidate has a background in the email or data/CRM SAAS spaces.

  • Experience working with a variety of partner types that service assorted industries/verticals.

  • Experience managing the creative process with an in-house team or contracted agency.

  • Some proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Note: there may be some travel involved in this role.
