The Capital Regional Manager directs all sales activity for Medtronic Lung Health and Visualization Capital Platform sales team within an assigned region. Sets success criteria, provides leadership for achievement of sales goals for the regional sales team. Forecasts, analyzes and reports on sales execution, implements policies, and maintains budget. Directs the regions sales personnel and works cross-functionally with other internal Medtronic functions to maximize sales efforts. Acts as a liaison between senior leadership and the region. Manages to a clear strategic direction and is accountable for the attainment of region sales goals. Reports to the US Director of Capital Sales.

Drive the Lung Health and Visualization Capital Strategy
Develop and execute customer segmentation sales strategies to drive competitive share in the market
Drives competitive share capture or protects SI share leveraging capital platforms
Manages performance of the regional team against agreed-upon criteria and metrics, including individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales performance objectives
Holds overall accountability for successfully executing capital sales targets
Deliver Results the Right Way:
Focus sales execution and collaboration with SI Top 100 segment
Engage with enterprise strategic accounts, Lung Health and SI sales and sales leadership and other commercial teams
Unwavering accountability for ethics and integrity in all customer interactions, setting a standard of ethical excellence for the region
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and KOLs and customers within the region
Act Boldly:
Serve as liaison between senior management and the region to ensure effective two-way communication
Proactive relationship management with Philips and SI Leadership on cooperative selling efforts
Develop business plans and strategic initiatives that enhance Medtronics competitive position and meet
customer needs
- Set and execute local IDN strategies to maximize market potential
Foster Belonging:
Plans and manages his/her time so as to assure that maximum available time is spent in the field with sales personnel to develop and coach. Estimate 70% of time will be in field with the team

Direct responsibility for the effective management of field sales personnel in the region, including recruitment, selection, training and development, coaching and feedback, and performance management.
Move with speed and decisiveness:
- Actively reviews, maintains, and prepares reporting documents, including forecasts, pipeline, market, competitor, lead generation and strategic initiatives reports that provide strategic and tactical intelligence to the region and the business. Uses this intelligence to define or amend individual or regional plans.

Education Required
- Bachelors Degree is required
Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience.
Preferred Experience
6+ years of medical industry sales experience
3+ years of medical industry sales leadership experience
Experience with Lung or Visualization
Capital Sales Experience
Track record of sales performance
Track record of sales leadership performance
Strong presentation skills 1 on 1 and in group settings
Proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Track record of successful execution of corporate initiatives

Credentialed and demonstrated ability to work in the hospital Operating Room Endoscopy environment
