The Industry, Apps, and Data marketing team is looking for an individual who wants to leverage a unique combination of business, technical, and marketing expertise to align key stakeholders to ensure that our Business Applications (Dynamics 365) product portfolio strategy truth aligns with current and future business priorities. Role will require strong collaboration across engineering, business planning, finance, and marketing resulting in formulating and delivering product strategy recommendations to Corporate Vice Presidents of Marketing and Engineering.

Business deliverables expected from this role include: * Delivering product strategy recommendations, including market opportunity, competitive landscape, and product overview * Building upon the knowledge of others (engineering, marketing business planning, finance) and driving cross-group alignment on Business Applications (Dynamics 365) portfolio priorities, with clear definition of success * Providing customer-centric insight, including customer use cases, alternatives, and pain points addressed * Understanding high-level overview of additional solution considerations, such as unique buyer purchase preferences and skills required to deploy/sell * Consolidating timeline of portfolio delivery, incorporating both engineering up-stream dependencies and marketing down-stream dependencies * Communicating status, risks, and blockers regularly with extended stakeholder group * Preparing and presenting agreed-upon recommendations to a variety of stakeholders, including Corporate Vice Presidents of engineering and marketing (clear, concise documents and presentations)
• Strong executive presence, cross-group collaboration and communication skills that drive influence among the senior leaders across a highly-matrixed organization.
• Basic understanding of cloud business applications
• Ability to research and articulate market opportunity and competitive landscape
• Demonstrated track record of success in product management, product marketing, or business planning
• The ability to break giant amorphous problems into discrete solvable components and apply rigorous logic to arrive at solutions.
• Understanding of Microsoft’s cloud computing technologies and business priorities
