Summary:

The Business Product Strategy’s mission is to make Facebook the best strategic decision-making company. This role is highly cross-functional and requires influencing executive leadership across Facebook.

Required Skills:

  1. Build a deep understanding of our existing business using internal and external data

  2. Strategically evaluate new product opportunities, and how they fit in a product portfolio

  3. Work with cross-functional partners (product, data science, engineering, user research) to surface opportunities and threats, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor or Master degree

  2. 6+ years of experience in business strategy and/or Product Management at leading or startup tech/media company and/or strategy consulting

  3. Quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen

  4. Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting

  5. Knowledge of drivers within a technology business

  6. Experience shifting priorities, while maintaining organization and control

  7. Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results

  8. Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a similar role and at an Internet-based company

  2. Experience working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment
