Acoustic L.P. Business Development Manager in Boston, Massachusetts
As a Business Development Manager at Acoustic, you’ll become an integral part of our mission to create the future of customer experiences. In this role, you’ll be equipped with some of the best prospecting and customer relationship management tools available on the market as you lead your lead generation team to success. You’ll also support your team in advancing their sales skillset by leading custom sales training programs, group workshops, role plays and one-on-one coaching sessions. This role has the unique opportunity to lead a team generating new logo sales leads in a new territory ripe with sales opportunities. This role collaborates with the North American Sales Leadership Team to go to market with a cutting edge, open platform that will help marketing teams gain deeper insights into their data. You’ll help marketing teams unlock their full potential.
Successfully complete all training programs to develop a detailed understanding of Acoustic’s offerings (Software and Services) in order to lead training efforts for the team.
Lead a team of Business Development Representatives focused on generating qualified sales leads to route to Account Executives.
Drive successful prospecting plans that include research, cold calling, email campaigns and inbound lead follow up to ensure adequate funnel coverage to realize sales targets.
Collaborate effectively across the business to optimize sales leads.
Responsibility for territory opportunity creation quota.
Encourage and develop the team, providing regularly scheduled and on the spot coaching.
Lead quarterly business reviews to discuss team performance against goals and drive accountability.
Maintain and report daily, weekly and monthly KPIs to leadership.
Leverage the SalesForce CRM as a sales accelerator and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
Bachelor's Degree required.
2+ years of experience managing a SaaS based solutions sales/BDR team with a track record of achieving team quotas.
Demonstrated track record of successfully driving successful prospect lead generation plans that ensure funnel coverage in order to achieve sales targets.
Proven success in coaching sales professionals on how to best listen to prospect challenges and goals to collaborate internally on solutions that will deliver the highest value.
Proven success delivering sales training plans and managing performance expectations.
Ability to craft engaging sales messaging both for cold calling and email scripts.
Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally, in alignment with company values, to achieve sales targets.
Ability to use company productivity tools, including web-based demonstration software.
This position will be based out of our Boston office but is currently remote. There is no travel.
Expertise of Marketing Cloud, Automation, Data Analytics, Mobile Solutions in the market.
Experience with SalesForce, Outreach.io or SalesLoft.
You were a BDR/SDR yourself once
Experience as a full-cycle quota carrying sales rep
Familiarity with Force Management or MEDDPICC
