The Business Banking Product and Partnership Manager/Acquisition Manager is responsible for delivering products and solutions to Business Banking colleagues and clients in a way that ensures they are simple, competitive, and profitable and that the end-to-end process is efficient.

Work closely with Products Director and Strategy Director to develop strategies and initiatives for how to improve overall product performance and penetration to achieve business objectives. Analyze performance trends and recommends action plans to enhance business results. Responsibilities may include process improvement, product maintenance, reporting, lead generation/cross-sell, budget planning, forecasting, risk management, analytics, and coordination with business partners. Act as project manager/coordinator for multiple high-profile projects.

Manage internal relationships with Business Banking Distribution, Retail Network, Customer Experience, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, etc. to achieve the desired portfolio revenue growth and profitability, while maintaining acceptable risk management standards.

  • Works collaboratively with a wide variety of partners to move initiatives forward, achieve target dates and improve business results. Act as a major contributor in developing the business banking product and delivery strategy.

  • Develop strong products support for Branch partners by establishing routines for product feedback, training support, monitoring service level agreements, etc.

  • Design and implement programs in conjunction with customer experience team and distribution to drive an improved customer experience or increased customer acquisition/cross-sell. Programs can include process improvement, distribution channels, sales tools, management reporting, campaign management, lead generation etc.

  • Actively monitor and measure the customer experience for issues, respond to customer/colleague issues, and recommend or design appropriate changes

  • Act as project manager for a number of high profile initiatives with responsibility of overall success; Responsible for presenting status updates to Sr. management.

  • Construct and implement complex business level reporting to help identify opportunities. Reporting to help drive decisions within the unit and tools to be provided to strategy and sales management teams.

  • Manage key operational processes for account maintenance, exceptions, etc., and recommends options to improve consistency of delivery, empowerment, or efficiency.

  • Support various product, customer, or general analysis requests arising from customer/executive requests, new initiatives or business as usual activities.

  • Lead and develop new or enhanced products, services, and strategies in conjunction with other areas of the bank including Business Banking segment management, Risk, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.

  • Reporting requirements will be focused around sales production, Listen/interact with the small business distribution team and focuses on improving the overall customer or team member experience.

  • Stay abreast of competitions product offerings, value propositions, and emerging trends to ensure that there are no product gaps.

  • Involves product, risk management, process, tools, campaign, and channels

Qualifications

  • 4 plus years experience

  • Ideally inAbility to work well within a structured team environment

  • interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable interfacing with senior management; willingness to work within matrix organizational structure

  • Proficiency with technology

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Project Management Skills

  • Results oriented with an ability to accomplish objectives in a specified timeframe

  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry and Small Business segment

  • Superior analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
