Business Analytics Partners drive recruiting through the lens of business data by empowering Recruiting leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as into planning. In this role, you will partner with managers across one of our recruiting functions to identify, influence, and enact tactical recruiting action building and planning. This role will perform research and conduct analyses on a broad spectrum of recruiting issues, with the focus on how we efficiently meet the company’s hiring objectives through our recruiting teams and supporting functions. An example of this work is using macro hiring progress data to isolate potential issues at the micro team level, and to then work with those teams and the data to develop proactive actions. The ideal candidate will have consultative, communication, analytical, data/dashboard building, and storytelling skills and will thrive managing concurrent projects while working with a cross-functional team to drive outcomes. We are looking for someone who enjoys building, figuring out the best way to achieve results, and working closely with a diverse set of teams. We need someone who enjoys operating in ambiguity and who uses creativity to combat challenges.

Required Skills:

  1. Connect global data and strategies to functional data in order to create team-specific analytics and reporting.

  2. Identify the mapping of the hiring targets that each recruiting team is responsible for delivering to the business, and provide recruiting managers reporting and analyses related to their targets.

  3. Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to managers in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams, such as the Recruiting Insights team.

  4. Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and create actionable recommendations.

  5. Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs.

  6. Deliver analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences and partner with them to identify the right actions.

  7. Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, Visier, and Excel to build and drive analytics and to enable client self-service on routine queries, as well as to design/run/deliver ongoing reporting and dashboards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 6+ years (or MBA/MA/MS with 5+ years) of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.

  2. Experience in at least one of these fields: management consulting, sales operations, finance, human resources.

  3. Experience gathering and interpreting data.

  4. Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance).

  5. Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks.

  6. Knowledge of data visualization principles.

  7. Experience in data visualization tools and Excel (complex formulas, pivots, macros, etc.)

  8. Experience building dashboards using advanced Tableau functionality (e.g. data blending) or equivalent tool.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS

  2. Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics).

  3. Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Visier, Salesforce etc.

  4. Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure.

  5. Experience in SQL.
