Summary:

Creative Experiences (Creative X) is a global, integrated creative agency that drives the creative vision for our brands and how they are perceived in the world. We develop all consumer brand content and experiences for the Facebook company, Facebook app, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp.

We have developed best-in-class collaboration models with agencies and our cross-company creative network. While we lead our team to create innovative films, content, and experience across our own channels, we also guide our lead agencies in the creation of content for TV, Print and OOH. This ensures a consistent and strong creative narrative for work that reaches an audience across the globe due to the scale of our apps.

We are looking for a Brand Designer to join the team with a background in developing holistic and timeless brand design systems. This person must have a strong background in brand architecture, craft and design thinking, with a proven track record of working on integrated efforts. You must be comfortable working across many media touch-points, creating and scaling rigorous design systems with high-fidelity. You're a conceptual thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways. When you decide to make something, you see your vision through from concept to launch.

Required Skills:

  1. A strong strategic acumen for building timeless brands through brand architecture

  2. Create brand systems and design solutions with a high level of craft and attention to detail

  3. Develop original breakthrough design thinking for a variety of marketing touch-points

  4. Build systems to enable partners and the practice to scale effectively across the family of apps

  5. Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas

  6. Collaborate with creatives, program managers, marketing leadership, stakeholders and production agencies to serve a global audience

  7. Design conceptual brand expressions that communicate brand intention and value

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in designing for brands

  2. Demonstrated experience in digital and print design, system building, strategic conceptual skills, and creating and managing work from ideation to final production

  3. Portfolio featuring work across brand systems and campaign design

  4. Experience across the full palette of design expression: traditional, digital, social, experiential, and ideas that drive earned media

  5. Track record of operating independently and without much oversight

  6. Communication and organizational skills

  7. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
